Oops. I misread the position of the wrapper.
Since the wrapper described on
http://www.amanda.org/docs/howto-wrapper.html runs on the client, the
wrapper won't work if the client is asleep.

Does amanda have a method of automatically running wakeonlan, or the

With a configurable statement to ignore certain errors, there is a

Reading through 7 pages of error messages may not happen. If the
software can be simply changed so that the user doesn't have to read
additional documentation, this is a good thing.

Yes, turn it on.
Of course, you should look at it in a few days and see if it is really
what you want. The backups will not be lost by turning on the flag.

the size of the flushed data is not taken from the total size of the

Is there a way, when using autoflush, to have the amdump use the tape

This sounds like a good idea.
There was a bug in the amanda.conf, which I will correct, but the
amanda disklist parsing code could be stricter.

Essentially, atoi interprets "eth0" as 0, but skip_integer doesn't
skip over anything, so eth0 then gets interpreted as "eth0" for an
interface.
Did interface get introduced after the spindle number? The CVS
interface isn't working now.
