if anyone had successfully used chg-rth. It seems that this controller

I was wondering if I can do something like this in the disklist:
client /home/user1 user-tar
client /home/user2 user-tar
...
instead of backing up the entire partition that has /home on it? I think
this will create separate dump images for each directory and therefore avoid
having a dump

Thanks to the help of this list, I have just recently configured Amanda and
run my first backups. However, I'm experiencing problems with amverify and
amrecover. The morning after the first backups ran, I tried to run amverify
on the first tape of the run. Here's the report I got back fro
ash on the drive, it just sits
there with Ready status. Once again, I can get the image with mt, dd, and
tar.
