Hi,
does anyone know a good tape library which supports hardware encryption
under linux with amanda? I thought about an lto-4 drive but there seems
no linux support for the encryption part und gpg is too slow on this
machine... ;)

Hi,
is it possible to define (in a dumptype) what holding disk to use?
I have a server which backups itself and this server has two raid
arrays. I placed a holding disk on each of the arrays. Now amanda

Hi,
another problem with my backup with debian testing as a client was tar

In this new version tar exits with error code 1 (TAR_FILECHANGED) if any

Hi,
at a customer I recently switched from tape backup to file device backup
due to a tape drive failure. Now, after the real tape drive is back
again, I'd like to tape the harddisk content to tape.
How do I do this?
