Multiple Tapes in Single run issue

Hi all, I have a backup image of some size greater than the tape size. Is multiple tapes in single run support available in amanda. If not how to go about this issue? What kind of configuration is needed in this scenario? thanks, Vijay Nilgiri Networks

amanda clinet in RH6.2 giving error

configured amanda --without-amanda-hosts and it uses rhosts for authentication. now the rhosts has been the RH7.2 machine and RH6.2 machines. rsh client machine works passwordless. am i missing something. please clarify --vijay

for dumpscyle , tapedev,tapechanger? Also the previous mails told me that dump was not recommended for linux?and that one hsd go for tar ? Is that so? i have tar 1.13.17 . Will that be good or do i need to upgrade to 1.13.19 .Also i dont have readline, termcap. Do i also need to install them? Vijay

Hi, I am trying to set up a manual changer. I set the tapedev and and set the tpchanger, but i am not able to find the file where i can set up the parameters for the manual changer.(eg. changer-src) Can someone please tell me, where i can find this file. Thanks, -vijay
