I'm trying to get amanda (2.4.2pl2) on an overland LXL1B10 (DLT1, 10
slots) running, but failed until now.
What is working:
I can handle the library via mtx (inq., load/unload slots etc.).
What does not work:
Almos everything doesn't. Each command runs the chg-zd-mtx script
and this gives a

What version of mtx are you using? I looked at the sources for 1.2.13
(and 1.2.11) and don't see how it can generate this line. It always
includes the device number, e.g.:
