I just put "program GNUTAR"'s in my amanda.conf where needed, and now
amcheck returns with 0 errors. (wii :))
Ok, so now I've setup it up... time to learn how to use it... backuping
up and restoring...

Now that statement isn't quite accurate. Amanda doesn't do backups.
