[AMaViS-user] amavisd-new clamav

I installed FC8 with postfix and I would like to install amavisd-new, spamassassin and clamav. Which pakages do I have to install to have clamav managed by amavisd-new? Can you give me a pakages list of clamav? Thanks Andrea

...again I installed FC8 and then, with command yum, I installed yum install postfix and yum install amavisd-new It installed amavisd-new-2.5.2-2.fc8 and the dependencies: clamav-data-0.92-6.fc8 clamav-filesystem-0.92-6.fc8 clamav-lib-0.92-6.fc8 clamav-server-0.92-6.fc8

At the command prompt, type: 'sudo updatedb'. This will update your locate database. When it completes updating, type 'locate freshclam.conf'. This is just a guess, but I think it would be in /etc/clamav. I just did how you say, but I don't found!!! Ok, which is my goal?...to install

[AMaViS-user] unify the wblist and mailaddr tables?

So I'm working on making the amavisnewsql plugin work with the latest tables. (patch coming) One of the changes that he made in the tables was to unify mailaddr and wblist. So instead of # ' FROM wblist JOIN mailaddr ON wblist.sid=mailaddr.id'. # ' WHERE wblist.rid=? AND mailaddr.email

[AMaViS-user] Large attachment compressed file can not sent

Hello everyone！ When I send Email with attachment big then 2M in RAR Format,it can’t be sent Why ? I'm not sure if we can set amavisd-new to have limits for the size of attachments as opposed to the size of the mail. Either ways, virus mails sent by infected machines will never be that big.

MrC ,Thank you for your help! I add [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] in virtual mailbox tables as you said ,then problem resolved. In amavisd.conf I set [ qr'^\.(zip|rar|arc|arj|zoo)$'= 0 ], # allow any within these archives But when send whit .exe file in RAR attachment, It also blocked.
