This may be a long shot, but if your base currency nominated in your account is
not USD the you might try to use the symbol even though it should default to
USD and does for me and I also use a mixture of EUR.USD-IDEALPRO-CASH and
EUR.USD-IDEALPRO-CASH-USD - both work for me. I trade Auss

I made a slight modification to your code below, which should give the same
clour output for volume, but it instead it plots black for green & light grey
for red. The boolean expression for direction should resolve to 1 (true) or 0
(false) and Volcolor should plot the same as you or
erefore your values are evaluating to other colors.

This must be a support issue - if you look at the message box
it states "Error 200 No security definition has been found for the request" -
it seems that IB have changed the way it deals with symbols.

data using the MS plugin - and get uptodate data when loading the
MDdata layout/database. The MS layout does not display the updated
information. Do I have to import MDdata for every MS directory

That is correct - I had tried that but the quotetraker is the
default active database I want - and as I understand the
documentation you cannot load more than one DB at start up.
Never-the-less that action still does not update from the MS data -
I still have the last bar dated 12

I am looking at the code that TJ provided in AmiBroker S&C Traders' Tips
monthly. Issue 1/2008.
I have applied it to some charts and it seems that the trailing stop "TL" in
the code which appears to be correct does not plot as shown in the example. I
get a horizontal line above the c
tion.
I have a comparison with the indicator applied in Metastock with Amibroker
screenshots on the same stock - if I can workout how to add attachments to this
post for anyone interested.
Any input pointing me in some drection to a solution is much appreciated.
