With the laws now reading that 1500w PEP OUTPUT is the power limit,
regardless of mode, why not run 1500w Output of FM, at +/-5kc? ;-)
Narrow band FM has always been allowed.. I take this to be 3 or 6 kc. The
wider band stuff is for above 29 mcs. I guess my old rule book is out of

Hello Fellow AMers:

Got an email from the flea market chairman last night indicating that
packets to last years vendors have been completed and will be mailed next
week. I knew I could go to the web site and download the forms but I
guess I'm just of creature of habit based on previous years sign up
procedures.

Hi Brian: Well, the guy I replied to said he didnt mind saying that in
difficult copy, he would switch to either LSB or USB to escape QRM.
So do I and I just said if there was another choice, I would do that also.
Sorry about the confusion.

Don,
How did you get your dipole up 110 feet? Is it strung between towers, or do
you have some gigantic trees in your yard? It took me a long time just to
get mine up 35-40 feet up in my trees using a slingshot-fishing reel combo.

How much FM would make an SBE "illegal?"
I didn't know there was a specific livel at which the signal
becomes illegal. A lot of silly OOs assume that a chirping
CW signal or one with a little buzz, yoop or drift to it is
illegal. I don't think it's illegal to chirp or FM just a little!
Gives
Oh Cool - an EL34 transmitter circuit.

??? Please explain.
DON - you were ROARING IN to Florida on 160m a few months
back. Strongest signal on the band. I had assumed that you were
using a full-sized vertical. Seriously!
I was considering a homebrew "Carolina Windom" for my
"soon-to-be-smaller-sized lot."

It tells you on ther ehow to do it.
You need a picxture viewer like Paintshop Pro or ACDSEE.
You need the DJVU plug-in to view and print those DJVU files.
That's about it.
