I was testing a 5V4 the other night. I was suspicious of it because it came
out of a Collins 32V-3 with a blown LV transformer. The 5V4 was the LV B+
rectifier.
The 5V4 yielded the proper meter reading when the RECTIFIER button was pressed.

hold up ham antennas and a good TV antenna, keeps my
wife happy. My neighbors think i'm Amish (or just

Hi Bob, thanks for posting about the RCA.
The pictures show a transmitter that has NOT been messed in, very much. I base
that on what looks like an intact wiring harness and only a handful of modern
spade lugs on visible terminal blocks. Years of undisturbed dust also tell me
