There was a ham with a cubical quad,
He had five hundred watts and a ground in the sod.
One night he was listening in the eighty meter band,
When he heard a rare station way down in Congo land.
He switched on his transmitter and reach for the key,
Then pounded out his call letters as
With your permission, could I use this poem in the Collins Journal?
I didn't write it.
The author's call is at the bottom along with the comment about the A
received when he wrote it in high school.
I simply forwarded it from another list.

Don't panic guys, QSL.NET is merging with QTH.COM this will be an even
bigger and better site. I am approaching my 65th birthday and it is time to
let younger minds continue. There will NO change in any list other than a
small outage as we move the data from Delaware to Lansing, Michigan. Scott
Thanks for the comforting words Al! We sure appreciate you, and as I
mentioned, best of luck and an early Happy 65th!
I look forward to hearing your 20V on the air soon!

Better get that 20V going Al. The propagation is wonderful to work most
anywhere is you time it right. If you wait until spring you will have all that
wonderul static to hear.
Scott is a nice, helpful guy and I don't think you could have chosen anyone
better.
By the way 65 is not all it is
