I still have my original Heathkit Twoer that was given (sold fer $15)
to me by my Elmer. I also was able to find the EFJ Ranger that I bought
from Henry Radio in Butler, Missouri, back in 1964 when I got my general
class ticket. The ham that had it GAVE it back to me and even paid for
I picked up one of Bob's 8 speakers and it sounds great on my HQ-140X.
I'm no expert, but I have been in broadcasting/audio recording, etc. for
over 35 years and I have heard my share of speakers and this one
satisfies my requirements just fine. No complaints here.

Hiya Bob,
It just so happens that in re-arranging the shack yesterday, I found a
cabinet with an 8 speaker in there that I want to use. The speaker is
shot, so I would like to purchase one of your eight-inchers. Lemme know
what the cost with shipping will be and I will get you payment. Would

Greetings!
I recently acquired a beautiful RME 4350 (not A). It looks fantastic,

Greetings!
I just acquired a very very nice RME 4350 (not A). It is just
beautiful, but is also pretty deaf. I checked the tubes and found a
couple of marginal ones that made a marginal improvement. The S meter
barely moves off the peg and the signals I do hear are weak. I know the
radio has
I'll have to third this!
I was up at 3AM CST, listening. I ought to fire up the Apache/HQ-140X
(all I have for 75 right now) but it is much more fun to listen. Here in
Nebraska the band wasn't too noisy, but it was long! W3PWW
(old military net) usually comes in around an S5, but
I was enjoying listening to this QSO last evening and both stations were
very strong into Lincoln, Nebraska. I shudda warmed up the G76, but all
I had on at the time was a TS-850. Nice signals, nice
conversation.good job guys, I hope to be QRV there on 7190 soon!

What ya gonna buy with the cash? :-)
Hey ol Jack!
Well if you want to know the truth, I was going to
put it in the bank for a rainy day. But instead,
I am going to use the dough to help finance my
musical comeback. I used to play in rock bands
and I must be going through the change
Welll..I see that the auto reply on this list is
