The Volumax 4300 does nothing to expand the bandwidth. It only affects loudness by expanding the positive peaks. It will expand the peaks to 130% positive max (160% with modifications). I have used them on a DX-100 and it works well. Ed, VA3ES __

Don, there is almost effectively no enforcement of regulations up here, any more. It's now all a form of Gentlemen's Agreement, or total self-policing. Here, IC know who runs AM, and who runs BC rigs. They basically trust us, because to a man, we're all experienced technically qualified amateurs
