filtered supply will work (I usually put a few K Ohms in series with the supply. If your supply lines are long, it is best to put a 1 uF cap and a .01 uF cap across the electret supply input and ground. They do love to hum so shield well. Good Luch, Charlie, K0NG

Hello Don: Several of the HX-10 units locally sound pretty fair with a new microphone. Also same applies to the HR-2600 and HR-2510. Use low Z dynamics 500-600 Ohms. D-104 does not work well. Regards, Charlie, K0NG

All: I used to work on the ole 96D in 1957 at Geiger Field, WN. We ran them on RTTY key down at 1500 Watts (cant recall if thats in or out ?? They were beautiful rigs, easy to maintain. 73 DE Charlie, K0NG .. (RYRYRYRY)

Hey Dan: I am surprised the manual does not list frequency ranges. Not familiar with the FT-101 but if it has two ranges on 10 meters now, subtract the difference between the crystal frequencies and you will likely have the coverage in KHz ? 73 DE Charlie, K0NG ..
