I listened a bit while setting up the temporary station, heard
WA4NJY(?) calling CQ around 7160 maybe around 8-9PM eastern. Funny
part was, the
suprised that WWV
was 20 over on 10 mhz. about midnight here. maybe 20 is opening up for
the US that late.

In playing around with the sdr-iq, I often listen to ssb that is close to an
AM qso.
I hear it quite well on AM, yet when I go to ssb and listen to the ssb qso,
people always worry about what someone else is doing for
fun...

in DeQuincy, LA? He used to have running battles with the slopbuckets on
3950 back in the 1960's and 1970's, maybe even early 1980's.
