I have an AEA isoloop 10/30, but no controller for it. is it possible to
homebrew one?
I have about 10 junk boxes full of semiconductors and passive components,
boards and project boxes.

The pictures are one big image but if you enlarge it you can see quite a

Brett,
I sure would like to see some pics of your homebrew receiver, and hear some
more about it's design (tube lineup, if strip, audio section, etc). I have
never built a receiver. Lots of amps, some cw transmitters, and lots of
accessories and surplus mods, but no receivers. Did you design it yo

I prefer triodes because they tend to have linear plate modulation

Hello all AMers.
I have started collecting and laying out parts for the homebrew
40 meter AM transceiver.
I plan on using two 4d32 tubes modulated by four KT90 tubes.
The preliminary design goes like this

TX driver: 5763
Output: pair of 4D32 tubes

Hello all AM'ers.
I finished the AGC and wired it to all the stages, I built the
BFO (455Khz xtal oscillator), the S meter amp, and the manual gain
control.
All I have to do is the muting circuit, and labeling the front panel
then painting it with clear paint.
Conditions are still poor on 80 meter
Hello all AM,ers.
I did some experimenting on the AGC circuits, along with the low
distortion High Fidelity AM detector last night.
80 meters has been a real mess around my house lately, I have a regular
intense impulse noise source, a street lamp that has crapped out
no doubt, and a lack of stron

Hi all,
While this list tends to concentrate primarily on vintage AM

Some of you may be familiar with Harry Lynthall's (SM0VPO) web
