Mike ( All),
Since I will be at work before the 1427z pass time tomorrow, I will setup my
station to track and record this pass from Michigan and report my findings
as soon as I am able to review.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Bob:
Not sure by your description , what type of CP antenna you have.
Here is a link for the common old KLM.

You have 3 options.
1. Surf the web for info, on how to rebuild the box and water proof it.

Hello everyone it is time again for the HVSG Net tonight Thursday, January
at 8PM EST. We can be heard on Echolink N2EYH-L or on the Mt. Beacon ARC
repeater at 146.970 pl 100 on your dial. On our last net we had four Amsat area

when it really started having problems, but last night I checked it

Any former or current HF ops have an old Drake MN2700 antenna tuner you'd like
to sell? Must be in good condition.

Vince,
One thing to check is the DC feed, especially the ground return. I use a
separate shielded cable, old RG-58 actually, and over the years I have had
the DC ground open up, or become intermittent. Both times, it introduced
significant RF noise. You can use the signal cable for the ground,

Mike,
Check out GcmWin (Great Circle Maps) from Roger, SM3GSJ at URL
http://www.qsl.net/sm3gsj/index.htm. This is not exactly what you are
looking for, but it does a good job of plotting your grid squares on a map.
It can plot from two different grid square lists as well, so you can

Good Afternoon Bob,
Sealing may not be the answer. There are many ways water/moisture can enter.
Water ingress can happen at gaskets, coax penetration points, DC
penetration points,
connector flanges, mounting screws, cover screws, etc. Coax can even
hose water inside.
I suggest limiting the

Hi All,
I have heard a couple times on the FM birds of stations
signing mobile. I wonder what type of antennas are used for mobile.
I have an Arrow I use portable with my HT. I have a full duplex Icom
FM rig and could just barely hear HO-68 on a Wednesday pass up in Em95.
No preamp or anything

I did. Despite my assumption it was the cap it in fact was not.
There's a strangle little spring that's part of the coupling between
the motor and the first drive cog. Not sure why its there, but it had
slipped out of position and was jamming the motor. I was tempted to

Adrian this is perfect! I see it uses ADIF log file formats. What do you
recommend for log program to use with it for SATS? I don't see any direct
