The wave guide centered on 2401Mhz with a band pass covering 2400 to 2402Mhz
with a very low insertion loss.
The first test made on my last AO-51 pass confirm all the qrm out of the
Hello...
I heard some QSOs on S band on the last pass...I have had to repair
my connection to the dish to receive the down link signal.
I was successful to hear some signals from the L48. I could
not make out the call signs but it is encouraging.. I will keep
on trying. W7LRD,.Bob.. I w

In the spirit of the Dayton $5000 challenge I am offering on Ebay my AMSAT
framed stamps. 100% of the proceeds go to AMSAT. I expect nothing less than a
spirited bidding battle for these stamps.

Hi Herich, DK1TB
When manually tracking a LEO satellite beginning from OSCAR-6 I
realized the same trick to point the antennas with an angle 5 to 10
degree in front of the satellite position.
The same technique is used by hunters to shoot down birds.

Hello Mark, Domenico and others,
when SatPC32 updates the antenna positions it turns the antennas a half step
in front of the satellites position. The manual says:
"Under all tracking options, the rotors are activated with a precession of
one half step, either one half of the time interval or o
Hi Domenico
Thanks for the flowers.
Hopefully we can get some more linear transponders in orbit in the future.
Besides the small mode-UV that I have here on the shelf I am working on a
mode-LS version as well (CubeSat size ofcourse).
Also on my bench is a credit card sized 2m-70cm FM transponder
