I fully support what Drew says here. AMSAT NA has been very supportive to all
of AMSAT DLs projects. We have poured many thousands of dollars into p3e not to
mention the efforts of our volunteers in the past.

Hi!
I'm getting caught up on my logbook, and wanted to thank everyone who
worked WD9EWK on Tuesday while I was in northern Arizona. I had posted
to the -BB that morning about my plans to operate from there, and logged
43 QSOs on 5 passes - 2 passes each on AO-27 and SO-50, plus an FO-29

I apologize if this topic has been covered recently, but I am asking again. I
am in the middle of redoing antennas, and am looking to keep something up for
the FM satellites. How well will a 1/4 wave dualband groundplane work on the
satellites? I remember reading a review in QST in the past ye
Greg,
Wow! Thanks very much for that wealth of information on the old Kenpro.
My old unit still works fine, but some of the hardware is rusted pretty
bad. The G550 hardware looks identical so I may be in luck.
I also need the terminal cover, but I doubt Yaesu has it since they
don't use that t
Can I ask how many solar panels will be unfurled from the 1U chassis
which has an internal dimension of approx. 87 x 87 mm? Will it be a
symmetric or assymetric arrangement? Will the antenna be embedded into
the extended solar panel?

Thanks for putting AO51 in mode L/S. Had a qso with KC9ELU, didn't say much,
however the fact we can say anything at all I find remarkable. The AO-40
(sobsob) gear still works!!

Hi Trevor,
The current plan is to use the same frequency for the FM downlink
and the telemetry beacon. The IHU will have sufficient memory capacity to
hold at least a days worth of data so the beacon would be turned on once
a day for a telemetry dump and then back to transponder mode.

Hi all.
I am trying to find some information on P3E. I wonder if anyone can help?
Specifically, I'm trying to find the overall mass of the satellite and the
mass of the fuel carried for the 200N orbital transfer motor.
I can estimate it from AO-13, but I wondered if any accurate info was
David and I plan on working a few passes tomorrow from north of Jameson, MO on
the grid line (EN20xa and EN30aa). We will probably work from the same
location we did a couple years ago on Isle Ave west of hwy 13.
We are planning on working the HO-68 pass @ 1658z, SO-50 pass @ 1831z, AO-27
