Hi Rick,
To be honest I haven't decided. It depends on what the interference situation
is tomorrow. I shut the 435.300 transmitter off so there was enough power to
turn the digital transmitter on for some quick telemetry. To be honest I didn't
notice the carrier until after I turned 300 back on
The uplink was on 145.92 during the 2230Z pass.

Hi Drew,
I heard you turn the bird off on the previous pass for a couple minutes
because the carrier was there. The big question,
are you going to leave the uplink on 145.920 until Wednesday, or back to
145.880? This answer will remove some
further emails and phone calls as to why they can't
Zack,
See my previous message to -bb. I switched the uplink to 920 mid pass to try to
alleviate the jamming that was occurring. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi All,
I just got off of AO51, and I could not get in for some reason. I was in V/U
mode, and I am aware that it is in V/SU. I was transmitting on the 145.880
uplink (no PL). I heard several others on, but I could not hear myself in the
downlink, and no one would respond to my calls.
All I
Does there exist a system that will email a list of passes to a user ?
Of selected satellites ?

I switched the uplink to 145.920 this evening on the chance that the solid
carrier blocking the uplink wasn't intentional.

Hi!
Yesterday's quick trip down to Lukeville at grid DM31 in southern
Arizona was a perfect day for radio. After leaving a pre-sunrise
rain shower in the Phoenix area on my way down there, it was only
sunshine for the rest of the day and about 68F/20C in the
afternoon. Much better to be there
I was scanning the DEMI catalog when I noticed that DEMI is offering
a xtal for their 1296 transverter which put it on 1268-MHz.
The transverter is offered in 25w or 50w:
25w: assembled $590
50w: assembled-only $800
1.5w: kit for $395 (might be adequate for satellite if mounted right
at the ant
Do not write me concerning the radio. Posted as a courtesy for
KE2BP. It is listed on e-bay #110625397465 at $1300

Hi all,
I have an Icom R7000 receiver for sale, that covers 25 to 2000 Mhz. The
receiver is in good shape and has been in weekly use here for over a year. No
accessories included. I currently use the R7000's IF output with an SDR-IQ to
monitor satellite downlinks and during VHF contests.

Hi Dick,
You can do at least this two different ways:
1) With ver 12.8 you can setup multiple configurations that can be switched
easily from within the program. It's very nice--you can have different a
different tracker, radios, satellites, etc.! Just use the menu
Setup/Configuration and yo
What ver of PCSat32 are you running Dick? In latest ver 12.8a you can setup
4 different configurations. I used to run two or three different copies, but
with the new stored configuration ver you now don't have to...

I use SatPC32 configured for two FT-817 transceivers for cross band duplex
working. One rig is on the 2m aerial and the other on the 70cm aerial with a
transfer switch for V/U or U/V. I have to switch the configuration to one
transceiver and reboot for in-band simplex such as packet on ISS. Is
Richard,
I believe the schedule may be flipping back to SSB this evening. I am in FN20un
and usually the passes around 14:00 and 16:00 UTC are valid for this area in
NJ. The first of the two passes above often may even have European stations on.
Http://www.camsat.cn I believe is the website f

mornings.

Hi folks,
Last week the flash boot memory of a CAN controller on Sumbandila was
corrupted by a probable radiation event. It does not affect
satellite health but prevents activation of the amateur radio
repeater, as the particular script detects an anomaly and aborts.
The same problem also occ
I heard it at approx 04:05 UTC however I was wondering if there was
something wrong, the beacons were very infrequent, I think I only
heard 3 during the whole pass. Unfortunately I don't have 9600bps
hardware at present, so I can't provide any tlm from them.
