I just noticed that the DIGIpeater has been off for 2 days, but at about
1000 UTC or so, it was back on on a pass over California.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that for "life safety"
reasons, they are only supposed to operate it in the pre-tested and
pre-approved
programmed modes.
