Hi all,
I used these keps during a pass over here in Wales (United Kingdom) at 1155
hrs GMT onwards.
The satellite CW was loud and clear with just an Elk antenna feeding my
Kenwood TS-2000.
Congratulations to all concerned with the project and its success

Hi,
I think the suggestion is still valid, the alternative proposal, being at
the band edge, may be useful to minimize any possible interference.
The attached pictures might help
The E6 band is located between 1260-1300MHz, centered at 1278.75MHz,
it is not an Aeronautical Radio Navigation

Considering the near-zero number of digital two-way satellites lately, you
might consider starting with a receive-only setup using something software
based like MixW or others. Software modems are where it's all going, and some
can transmit also, there's not much there right now to do so with.

I plan on getting up early tomorrow morning and watch the launch. Go
Dragon! Go SpaceX!

Hi all,, as I suspected my version is too old to do the pass predictions-
guess I'll invest in a newer one that does it all. Guess I need to climb out
of the Middle Ages hi hi

I will be doing an all-day satellite demo for the Three Fires Council
Scout-o-Rama tomorrow, May 19, from 1300 to 2200Z. Not sure whether we'll
be signing something-9BSA or W9CCU for the event, but look for us on AO-7,

Hi!
The first day of the Dayton Hamvention was great. Along with an early-
morning trek out to the Indiana/Ohio state line west of Dayton, I worked
a few passes at AMSAT's demonstration station out in a parking lot.
Thanks for all the QSOs with WD9EWK, as well as those who worked Keith
