I use a preamp as I find it useful for low elevetaion pass.

My recent acquisition of a new LVB Tracker came with serial only, not
the USB option. At first I thought this might be an issue but quickly
found that you can buy a nice FTDI USB to serial cable for around $15
online. It is a very clean solution. I was told that the USB option
had given some LVB
Hi Folks, I got in touch with Martha at Amsat and I’m on the list for when the
next batch of LVB Trackers are available. I have a question. I have heard
that the unit using the USB that comes with it gives problems. has this been
fixed in the new batches or should I buy one with the RS232 an
Balloon near Richomnd headed east at 60 MPH. See it on

over 170 miles away in Baltimore.
