Well you are in for some exciting times --
I think John' Papay's(K8YSE) site == http://www.papays.com/sat/general.html
is a great resource. He records most of the passes.
You can listen to the passes and get a good sense of the cadence of

I have multiple sound cards as well --
It appears the program uses the default audio devices.
I had to designate (using the OS) my radio connected sound
as the default device.
This might be a nice enhancement for the next release of the software.

Hello Mike -
I use schedule 40 PVC with an OAK closet pole down the center for
added stiffness
for a horizontal boom.
For vertical mast I use two PVC schedule 40 - one inside the other -
along with a wood pole.
I use PVC end caps on the ends to keep water/ moisture out.

in AM mode it just sounds like a constant tone --
The signal strength is not constant - and peaks about every 10 seconds - -
A new radar perhaps?

Thanks for running that down.
And you are exactly right - I could not get seem to get a signal strength peak

Is there some sort of IDLE / switch over / recovery time after

I have strong signals S9+30+ going into the telemetry dump -- and

I see that the schedule calls for it to be in PBBS mode -- but is it really?
I was seeing all the telemetry frames --

Are there some conventions / governance we should be observing when

Should there really be three mode designations in the schedule?

FM birds require good operator discipline - but mixed in
