Early yesterday evening I listened for a pass of AO-51 and then another one
of the FM birds, forget which. (I had only planned on the first, but
I'm really hankering to make some satellite contacts ASAP. Looks like the
last workable pass of the evening over my location is for SO-50 at 23:42
EST, or 04:42 UTC. Looks like a nice pass, 60+ degrees max elevation. I'll
be giving it a shot.

I just finished constructing a WA5VJB yagi just a few hours ago. Was
listening on the downlink during the pass but heard nothing. (Didn't try
transmitting.) Maybe no one was on, maybe the downlink is shifted off
