I'd like to point out that the cables may look the same but when tested you may be surprised at the results.Having looked at a number of different cable I have found a big difference in performance. After sweeping the cable over HAM bands the SWR can run from 1.5 up to over 6 to one .Suggest

RG 389 is an air dielectric cable. Make sure there is no moisture in it efore terminating it.Best way is to purge with dry nitrogen than terminate. Make sure terminations are air tight.This is a good cable but any moisture in it is not good news.I used LMR-600 a little more loss but abit easier

Thanks everyone for your input on adding a UX910 1200mhz band to my IC 910. Santa came early.will be using LMR-600 as the run is under 100 ' and I have it. Next will be looking for an antenna.Have a number of sat T.V antennas and looking into possibly using the reflector and looking for a kit.

Being some what new to amsat need a little help.  When new SATS are placed in operation how are these loaded into SATPC32 program for tracking such as Sumbandilsat? Is there an easy way to switch from SATPC32 to SATPC32 ISS with out shutting down one to go to the other? Thanks for any help.
