Two problems with Nova after the move from Windows 7:
1. It doesn't run. Throws Exception ERegistryException in module
Nfw32.exe at 00079BEE. Failed to set data for .
Can Nova run on Win7 (32bit??)
2. Can't find my registration number or activation code or whatever?
Any way to recover
I've owned Nova for a number of years but recently had to reload it when
I upgraded my PC. For some reason, the maps don't seem to look the same
as they used to. Is there a separate download for better maps? I've been
to the website, but can't seem to find anything.

Second e-mail to Northern Lights Software Associates netted an immediate
response from owner, Michael Owen, W9IP. The response included my
customer registration number (that I had misplaced) from over ten years
ago! Not many companies would do that.
He also apologized for the amount of time
I have been tinkering with NOVA Software. I simply cannot figure out
how to add additional satellites like SO50. I have pointed the update
to various sites that I thought should work but I have not succeeded in
getting so50 and some other amateur satellites to show up. Any advice

My laptop finally died, and the replacement came with 64-bit version of
Windows 7. I installed (as administrator) both Sat-PC32 and Nova;
neither works. Does anyone have any idea or instructions on how to
install? Or are they known to NOT work, in which case, what are people

Updating keps doesn't work -- complains about some missing file.
Updating time from internet doesnl't work. Just tries and tries
Any suggestions on getting it to work on Win7?

Could someone give me a lesson on how to get the NOVA Internet Keps Update
to work again from the Space-Track homepage.
There is no problems logging in on the Spacetrack homepage using my username
and password.
