Hi Nick,
You mentioned KiwiSat, my understanding is that they needed to raise
$1 million to buy a launch into a 700 km orbit. I am not aware that they've
raised it yet.
I'm aware of these satellites planning to launch this year:
A 2013 Yasny Dnepr Launch should have
- FUNcube-1 435/145 MHz
FOX-1 with a 145/435 MHz singe channel FM transponder at end of the year, can
anyone confirm if it's still year-end ?
We are not manifested yet. We passed on a launch that was offered earlier this
year because it was only to ISS altitude. So, we don't have an exact date, or
even a vehicle
uplink on currently planned
satellites?
Thanks and 73,
Raydel, CM2ESP, El83sc.

Fox-1 will have a 70 cm uplink and 2 meter downlink (U/V). The design
should make it as easy to work as a V/U FM satellite, with your handheld
antenna and HT setup in mind.

closely together with these projects and having a tangible influence
in their hardware and software development. Out of curiosity, I always
wondered why AMSAT would not offer semi complete communication
