I will be there. Got a pass from my senator. My second launch! (The first
was STS-1!) And yeah, I was a bit unhappy to see that the President will be
there, mainly because of security and also taking up space in the best spots
:-)

There's a good bunch of hams in the area that cover just about all of the Cape
launches and rebroadcast the countdown nets on a local repeater.

I was able to view a shuttle launch a while back from next to the VAB, and had
my little VX-3 tuned
