Hi all!
I want to use the ground conductor that is in both the elevation and
azimuth rotators on pin #3 on the rear connectors.
The plug on the rotator controller is a two prong polarized type.
The upshot of this is that there is no actual connection to earth ground at
the chassis.

I've got a used set of Yaesu G-5500 az/el rotors, and the plugs that
attach to the rotor housings. I need to build cables to connect them to
the Yaesu controller.
Page 3 of the instruction manual shows some info about the wiring, but
doesn't explicitly say which screw terminal on the controll
Yaesu Rotators use English (Imperial) sized Ball Bearings.
Depending on the specific rotator model, the size will be:
5/16" (7.938 mm) for elevation rotor of G-5500

3/8" (9.525 mm) 65 rockwell 65/35(steel/nickel)
for azimuth rotor in larger G-1000 ro
The 500 pot on the Yaesu g5500 elevation rotator failed. Does some on the
list have a replacement part number and source preferable a USA source?

I have a Yaesu G-5500 rotator that has a spoilt azimuth motor while
the elevation motor works fine. Looking at the specifications
published by Yaesu, the G-800 rotator seems to be very similar with
the azimuth motor of the G-5500.

marks with the position pot and the end stop switches. Probably the same

I have yaesu g-5500 rotator. for 1 year. it works good but now it doesnt
rotate in elevation axes. I press the up and down switches in controller
but there is no change in meter indication and also no change in antenna
position in elevtaion axes.

I have this rotor that has been part of a field day satellite antenna setup
and need to sell for $375.00. I'm selling at this price because I've lost
the connections that go to the rotors and believe you can buy them off the
