Could you please explain me how can I get the "hit" number for
a site, which parameter in analog will give me the aproximate value for
that?
(i.e is it ok for just counting the "homepage" for the site ,
I think it isn't?)

I can´t do this. We are using analog for two porposes:
to process squid log files. Then, the host is our user´s id.
to process intranet log files. Then, the administrator want to know who
are viewing the intranet site.
But the main question is why the warning message always shows me P 6

use a db, it will reduce the memory utilization.

wouldn't help as much.
The "P 60" is an error in one of your cachefiles. You might need
to regenerate the files (or remove the line, but you'll still be
missing that data).

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
I tried it without the LOGFORMAT line originally. It worked for the first
logs I processed. Then when I moved to logs on the Apache I have been unable
to process anything, with or without LOGFORMAT.
Perhaps that indicates another problem?

Analog doesn't keep the logs in memory, so using a database won't reduce
the memory utilization - if anything, it would increase it.

what are the n most frequently pages per user, and, for squid logs, what
our bigests Internet users are looking for at Internet, or which employees
are looking at the bigest viewing sites?

In our site, I would like to get the figures for a specific subdirectory.
Such that:
www.123.45.com/abc/def/gh/x.html
www.123.45.com/abc/def/gh/y.html
www.123.45.com/abc/def/gh/z.asp
How can I do that? and is there any limit for the number of subdirectory
which I can get the statistics?
