I have some transparent graphics in my game. Up through 2.0.0 they
have looked fined. Since Android 2.0.1 though, some parts of the fully
transparent regions of the graphics are instead slightly opaque (e.g.
a circular gradient that goes to 100% transparency will have a faint
halo around it)

You are right, the GL_INVALID_VALUE error is caused by the dimensions.
Now the glTexImage2D seems to be okay. But it only gives me a white
screen on my phone.(It works on the emulator)

My guess is that your problem is that you are trying to create a non-
power-of-two sized texture, which is not supported on the G1. Try
using 512 x 512 as your texture dimensions. You can continue to use
480 x 320 for glDrawTexOES.

Ok ! Now that I am able to fire up the alarm, how can I fire up the
