Um. EventHub.cpp reads the data from the driver. You can look at EventHub
to see how it reads it. There isn't anything more to say about I don't
think -- it reads the next event from the driver, and the driver provides
it. (I can't really help you with details in the kernel, I work in the user
The kernel log will print messages as the android low memory killer is
running, such as:

I'm not sure. Is there a way to check on a running phone via a shell?
Otherwise, I guess I can sprinkle some printk's in the
lowmemorykiller.c.
Thanks

Hi Dianne,
Thanks for your reply. Can you please describe how events are passed
from touch screen DRIVER to EventHub.cpp (JNI layer) when a touch
screen event gets generated?

The limits are set with init.irc. Note that the default limits for level 14
and 15 are quite hight, so if the problem is just the limits it means the
working set for your build of Android is significantly larger than that of
the stock system. Have you made sure that you have the android out of
me
EventHub.cpp and KeyInputQueue.java are the main participants.

Hi Guys,
I'll be grateful if someone can explain that how the JNI layer (Native
layer) gets notified by the touchscreen driver when a touchscreen
event occurs? Any documentation or API flow chart on this will be of
great help.
Thanks in advance

The device I'm working on isn't killing processes early enough, and I
was wondering where I can change this limit. It seems like mm/
page_alloc.c and mm/oom_kill.c are related, but I don't understand the
"zone"s involved.
My device starts having a ton of page faults and visually lagging, but
