try to specify the "-o rw" with the mount. it will solve this problem.

instruction in the wiki page to install it on your harddrive. The reason
that we are doing things different is becasue the new way will be faster.
Otherwise, you may spend a few hours to install android on a machine like

I've downloaded the source code and realise that I can create an
installation image for USB (like it used to be) but it wouldn't
install properly. Another question is, the downloaded source code is
for the latest Android (Donut) but I would like to get Android 1.5
The installation does not work yet. If you want to install, check the wiki
page http://code.google.com/p/android-x86/wiki/GetSourceCode. It tells how
to install it on the hard drive manually.

I downloaded eeepc-v0.9.iso, when I choose to install it return a
