well i've tried my wl110 under angstrom and it doesn't seem so easy:
perhaps we could try to follow this bug report:
http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2159
and try something like
"prism2_srec wlan0 -r /etc/pcmcia/rf010804.hex" will load firmware to RAM of
card.

however my card IS working with my wep AP, at least under Sharp Rom,
pdaxii13 and openBSD
i'll try under Angstrom asap

Strange , i have the same card and it is working out of the box with All
distros...Even angstrom . .
How do you check the firmware level ? I don t see it on the card
