As a member of the PMC I think that Jim should have raised the question to the
PMC rather than taking this action on his own. The people involved should have
had the opportunity to explain their behaviour before being banned. I think
this should be the way to go in any case.

We're in the next phase now. What remains to be seen is whether you
can only renew the president, and leave the rest of the PMC on, but
that probably would be unfair as I would not have the chance to run
for PMC member if I want
