I'm sorry Dale. There have been reports of insufficient capacity

Hello my fellow Arachnids:
Have any of you guys ever tried to install and run GirlFriend 3.1 yet?
This one is supposed to be perfectly compatible with your old system,
and she's supposed to run super-slick too, but many users have reported
problems.

Hi Folks,
I find that I am now getting lost clusters with some regularity.
System: 486, 133 MHz, 32 Mb RAM, MS-DOS 6.20 running Arachne 1.66, low
memory (at boot) 580 kb, (Arachne loaded) = 105 kb.
The cause ? It is very clearly linked to aborted email uploads

Hi Arachnians,
Boy, this list is getting way too serious. I offer this for our
amusement until things settle down a bit, what with all the security
hole talk, Arachne "virus" crap, yada yada. Enjoy.

Hi folks,
just for fun I assembled an other "historical" computer which is

I don't think dos4gw and cwsdpmi are on my DOS system.
It's unusual for DOS binaries to use shared libraries;
whereas, nearly every Linux binary does. For example:
the directory command (ls) and

Hi Neil;
I'm sure you know I was just making a "BUG" report and

If that's the case, is this a security hole, or more of an inconvenience ?

Hm. I've just had an intresting thought - You dont have to try to
reverse engineer core.exe in order to get these words.
Just think about it. What if a person who have a collection of
"certain type of files" (refering to the content) attempt to grep
the computer for one of the obvious keywords?

I allready written an explanation about this in alt.msdos.
Couldnt find the others, though.
Anyway, its rather typical to find all sorts of myths and legends
on usenet. That, and spam.
Hello once again,
Finally! Online with RedHat 5.2, Arachne in a Box, and it looks quite
promising.
Not perfect though.

DOS partition, M$DOS 6.22, virtual 486 dos machine with 2 MB RAM,
