F-6 some while back. IIRC it is usually if you forget you're in F-6 and
not F-4 ... the F-6 module is very touchy about the way it is handled;

I try my W3.1 Shiva Dialer, and it does the same thing as Miniterm,
except it pops up an "AUTHENTICATION" dialogbox, with my UserName
already entered in one line, and the cursor in the "PASSWORD" line.
I enter my password and click OK...it pops the same authentication
dialogbox up
I recently acquired another ISP account.
They state that they do NOT support anything except Win9x/ME/NT, etc,
and MacOS.
They used to support Win3.1, but have now stopped doing that...
They usually supply their new accounts with a CD to install/configure
the connection, through Windows or Mac.
