We have some pretty good brains working on this problem, and we're
going to lick it ... Looks like FAT32 is the culprit. Just to
put the idea that it's something to do with CDROM's, I diconected mine
and rebooted; ran Arachne and she hung as usuall at 'your comp
g. :(((

tried to run Arachne on Windows.
I just copied WWWMAN.EXE and WWWMAN.CFG onto a Windows system to test
for the "your computer" bug. I've seen from MIME.CFG that WWWMAN can
be the culprit... and it is!

Mine is Windows 95 OSR2 "b". I've just restarted in DOS mode. Rescued
CTMOUSE and hit "Your Computer", it freezes the machine

Since MSDOS.SYS is nothing more than a text file with a few boot options
in it. We know that this has nothing to do with reading drivetypes.

No crash on Arachne 1.66 either...3 loads of Your Computer,
from both Desktop, then access one of the hard drives,
click on "//" ikon, repeated twice...no crash or freeze.
It did take it a few seconds to finish listing all the junk

with no luck. (I get exactly the same hang when I hit the "\\" button in
'all files'). But riddle me this: I can access every drive on my computer
