I have thought of change of my distro from Arch to ones with big company
behind once sometimes since I am afraid of such leadership things(I mean a
distro will lost his futuer when original devs leave for more important
things for their own lifes) , but now I am really impressed by the whole

@Judd, and others
Maybe you haven't noticed, but Arch Linux has grown to be the most
cared for Linux ever. I have never seen such a caring community
elsewhere. I believe Judd must be (at least partly) responsible for
gathering such a great bunch around this fine distro.
So yeah, +1 for "the best

Thank you for everything. I got lucky with linux in the sense that I
didn't have a long stint till the time I found Arch. Its been on my
computer since 2004 and in a year all my family started using it.
Thank you for a great distribution, Judd.

I'd like to thank Judd for all the amazing work that he had done to
create Arch and to wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
I'd also like to congratulate Aaron for his new appointment. I hope he
will bring Arch to new heights.

It's pretty remarkable how far Arch has come. For example, the IRC
channel has grown from about 80 people when I first came to Arch
almost 4 years ago to about 330 people today. And the frequent
releases seem to be generating a lot of new interest in Arch. Judd,
you should be very proud.
That said
I thank you for your very well spent time on Arch. Arch has stopped my
search for a distro after more then 5 years in this quest. I've been
mostly a lurker on this list, but I feel the need to say a deep 'thank
you very much'.
And I, for one, wellcome our new Phraktured Arch Overlord!! :)

have, it with an air of finality.
I plan to step down as leader of Arch Linux and pass the torch. The
reason for this is that I do not have the time to devote towards a
