yesterday i had a similar problem with perl apps. it turned out that the
git package deletes the link /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/ pointing to
site_perl/current (http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8231).
after restoring this link perl apps worked again.
so take a look at /usr/lib/perl5 for

I had an old package from perl (Version 5.8.8-6) and downgraded it with
pacman -U perl-5.8.8.6... and o wonder all works fine again. So the
problem must be the new perl package 5.8.8-8.
But else a question. I had have the luck to have the old package on a
harddrive. But where can i find some
Thanks for the idea, but i reinstalled it with pacman twice. Nothing happens.

after controlling your answer i have seen that this module is
installed. i have installed it again, but there is no change.
so i have no idea what do do now.
