What I think that the KDE developers intend is to access any plasmoid related configuration on the panel by using that plasmoid icon at far right. You should first unlock, then click on the plasmoid icon, and then be free to rightclick on the taskbar plasmoid. It's certainly inconvenient

there is a setting for this, but the task manager is some pain to open his settings dialog. If you set force rows settings, you get several rows.

Listmates, One strange difference in plasma-panel between my suse and my arch installs is that in suse, plasma-panel (kicker) shows the open application icons as 2 rows while my arch installs only show 1 row of apps. See: (26k)
