Also it seems like mostly this is known as VFDT in the literature (Very

Yes I agree these are different audiences, but actually, I think that the
requirements are overlapping. For example, I see a lot of use for the
features you are adding for API management into connected device situations
too. I think there will be an overlap with
the token.
Secondly, it should be possible to edit the scopes of the tokens without
changing the token.
Finally, we need good export/import and bulk-view/edit APIs for tokens.
This would really make the OAuth2 token much more useful for IoT, embedded
and even mobile apps.
