[ARIE-L] Ariel Shutting Down

Hi all! We have Ariel 4.4.1 running on a VISTA computer. (Getting it to work on VISTA was a miracle in itself.) Lately Ariel has been randomly shutting down. It doesn't seem to have any correlation to the computer going to a screensaver, to sleep or computer updates (which we have shut off).

I've had this happen and I can't highlight it to hold or delete it. If its really stuck I have gone into the actual ariel program files (on the c drive) and delete the file from there. Sometimes that is the only way we have gotten rid of a corrupted file like that. Holly HF9 Rivier College -

Hello all, I'd like to scan a document via ariel and send it WITHOUT the copyright page that appears as the first page of the pdf. I tried deleting the notice in the preferences field and clicking apply, but it attached that page anyway. Is there a way to do this? Thank you! Holly Klump ILL
