Libraries (OCLC: WAU and DOCLINE: WAUWAS) will no longer use Ariel to send and receive documents. We

Hello all,
An update: University of Washington (OCLC: WAU, DOCLINE: WAUWAS) was able to successfully resolve
our ILLiad 8.3 upgrade issues. We are back up and resuming normal Borrowing and Lending operations.
Now we're catching up on all the requests received since last Friday. Thanks for your

I believe you can test your Ariel setup using Infotrieve's store and forward
server.
Send the test to arielsf.infotrieve.com/[your ariel IP address]
The IP address for arielsf.infotrieve.com is 216.33.62.30 if that works better
for you.

422 is not open for
uninitiated inbound TCP traffic (this is assuming the sender has opted to use
Ariel Default Data Port 422). If the problem is on the receiving institution's
firewall, it is likely that port 422 is not open for outbound TCP traffic.
Either of these circumstances will yield
