Hi,
Rahman recently opted out of OSO on the issue of rights and royalty. As a
result he had to walk out on an SRK production (which went on to become a
big thing). Both these acts seem to have given ARR's image a different
tinge that is reflecting in the music section of the reviews of JA. I am ye
Thanks Gops, Mathew and Siraj, for your replies.
I need to read those reviews more carefully from now on.
The song azeen-o-shaan shahenshah has so many layers and variations in it,
and when watched on the big screen it in fact moves the story forward in a
big way. Now that's ARR's greatness. Just
Hi all,
The concert in Chennai during April second week is confirmed! Let's await
the details from the organizers!
So its going to be Chennai before Sharjah. I hope it is longer and better
than the Marg concert!
And this is *NOT* a rumour. I have confirmation from ARR himself.
Love,
Adi.

Raghu, I don't think story narrators and music directors of the same movie
work together. Rajeev must have meant that Rahman has not scored music for
an Amitabh movie. Which is a very interesting piece of trivia! What a moment
it will be when the two come together! Wow!

Indiaglitz's journalistic standards were never very well known. But using
such sentences like "In spite of his busy schedule in Hindi..blah blah" are
totally uncalled for. Esp considering the flak that Rahman gets for not
doing enough work in Tamil. Though I have always failed to understand why he

I don't know about Moser Baer's quality of DVDs. So can't comment about
that. But can we atleast hope for a 5.1 channel Audio DVD release of Jodhaa
Akbar? I think that's what we want more than a VCD or anything. And if it
can be combined with the BGM score of the music then nothing like it! :) Am

Hi,
This interview below somehow sounds very much unlike the Rahman we
know. He would never say something like, "Tell me how many directors
