I just heard the songs to Andhimantharai. Wow, it is as if I heard a long lost
songs of A.R.Rahman. It takes me back to roja era and its beautiful, simple,
melodic days. Any thoughts...?

I know this email isn’t about A.R.Rahman, but since all of us are open to great
music, I thought I would email this. A.R.Rahman is great, and I am one amongst
his biggest fans. Having said that, we should not just limit ourselves to just
his music.

1) Can anyone tell me where i can find western notations to Indian ragas,
preferably on the net?
2) Please listen to the attached song. It is very beautifully done. Not a
Rahman song but still a great song,

I just downloaded LOTR musical track from Amazon.com. The songs are
spectacular. I am trying my best, with the knowledge of trade mark Rahman style
of composing, to figure out which of these tracks were by Rahman. C
It is definatly fake. And an horrible attempt at it too!!!
