I know a North Indian who loves Mani Ratnam films and even owns some of his Tamil films on DVD. And I know another who listens to ARR's Tamil and Hindi stuff, and even appreciates some of Ilayaraja's work. Whatever stigma there was about regional music is gone/reduced because of ARR. South India

rathinam,the fact no 3 is so true.i dunno what is so great in Eng songs,im so proud that i listen to Indian languages songs.And i will proudly say it infront of my indian frens who listens to english songs & insults indian music,i will say i dun define eng songs as MUSIC.they r just mere noises
