Please clear my doubts, are any awards related to hindi films given away for
any dubbed movies from other languages. As far as i know, they only consider
the original hindi language film, especially Filmfare folks, thatz the
reason, Roja was not in the nomination l

Rangeela was released in 1995, so it would have qualified for an award
in 1996.
So, the 1995 RDB best debutant award must have been for some earlier
film and not for Rangeela.

ARR received the Filmfare RDB Award in 1994 (the year it was instituted, post
RDB's demise)
after the Hindi version of Roja was released. He got the award for Rangeela
only in 1996.
In both years, he received two filmfare awards each but not at the same
ceremony.

I agree with rayrai, Rahman bhai for the RDB award as a newcomer for the
film Rangeela and not for Roja. Also Rahman won the best score award for film
Rangeela. And its the time when RDB awards were given away to the new
budding composers for their initial extra-ordinary work in the field of
music.

I guess AR was awarded RD B award after Rangeela, he had come to the
stage twice to collect on that year during FF awards once for RDB and
the second time for best music - Rangeela. He happened to be the
first one to receive the RDB award followed by Karthik Raja for
Grahan in the later year.
In his last days, Panchamda was made isolated by Media..
No one even care to visit him..only after he passed away, people
and media started to react with shock..
So comments are available on Roja..
But Panchamda was lively man..Had he'been alive he would have danced
