I have a question:
Has ARR ever scored
Naveen...Swades was NOT a SCI-FI movie.
A scifi movie is diff from a movie where the protagonist juz plays a
scientist!! Endhiran is on science. Swades was NOT on science!
Excellent write up.. Zillion thanks to you.

This movie seems like a perfect opportunity for Rahman to experiment with
sound, as we're talking about robots and future,
I expect typical synth-orchestral elements in the arrangements [Esp in the
theme song], with Michael Columbierish percussions and a lot of Live
Choir[Which many other Indian composers have already started experimenting].

with a warning…this is a long post, and those who know me (and know how I love

Hi Gayathri,
Convey my hi to Master Nephew. you described his spontanous response
to the songs so well that I could visualize your and his journey.
You didn't mention his response to Kata Kata, that I was eagerly
waiting to read, hoping that I have a Bheru Number 3 of Kata Kata in
making.

Awesome write-up, Gayathri!! Could visualize your excitement and
enjoyment
Blue theme - rocking, thumping, cant stop dancing to this one.
Aaj Dil Gustakh hai - just one word to describe this one addictive
Fiqrana - easy, breezy, love the refrains of fiqrana
Rehnuma - inspired! Rahman is like a bartender - mixed several ingredients in
just the right amounts to create
Just some speculation:
- Music will be highly polished, classy
- Heavy emphasis on Western Classical Music. If you look at the
lettering of the title at the official website, you will notice
symbols of western classical notation.
- Will likely compete with Ghajini, Jaane Tu, and Jodha Akbar
Subhash Ghai had already confirmed himself, that the music of Yuvraaj is
going to be highly westernised, in his interview to Rahmania

hi guyz,
I was wondering, why do we rate Sir ARR's music so highly? Is it
because he has his own style, is it because he has some of the best
artists in the industry with him, or is it something else? It was
then I realised that his music touches my heart. Whenever i listen

My thoughts abt ARR's London 3rd Dimension Tour
This message is to all those who couldn't make it on that day and to those who
did. I am pretty
sure those who made it had a great time even though there was nothing 3D about
the concert.
The organisers promoted the show saying its a 3D tour
